The Environmental Health office is a division of the Sampson County Health Department that offers many programs to help protect and improve the public health of Sampson County through the enforcement of state rules and regulations. The division also offers many educational opportunities and public information meetings.

The Environmental Health office is comprised of various areas which includes Food Protection/Institutions, Children's Environmental Health, On-site Wastewater & Wells, and Private Water Supplies.
