Ivanhoe Water System Project has begun on November 7, 2024! Each qualified resident will have 60 days to complete and submit the application to the Public Works Department. The deadline to apply is January 7, 2025.

Environmental Health

The Environmental Health office is a division of the Sampson County Health Department that offers many programs to help protect and improve the public health of Sampson County through the enforcement of state rules and regulations. The division also offers many educational opportunities and public information meetings.

The Environmental Health office is comprised of various areas which includes Food Protection/Institutions, Children's Environmental Health, On-site Wastewater & Wells, and Private Water Supplies.
