The Resource Conservation Workshop is a weeklong workshop for high school students that involves study and hands on participation in a wide variety of conservation topics. Preference is given to high school juniors and seniors. Students are housed in NC State University campus dormitories under the guidance of live-in counselors. In order to achieve success, students should come prepared to apply themselves to meet the primary objective of this workshop - learning about natural resources and their management in today's environment. Competition and contest winners can earn college scholarships and cash prizes. The Resource Conservation Workshop is usually held during the last two weeks in June.
